Introduction:Obesityisfrequentinfemalesandtheprac-ticeofphysicalexercisesandgoodhabitsoflifeandanade-quatefoodconsumption,help in the prevention and itstreat-ment.
Objective: Toevaluate the profile, nutritional status and weightvariationofadultwomenattendedatanutritionclinic inthecityofPelotas/RS.
Methods: A descriptive, retrospective study was carried out through the analysis of medical records of patients with 20hoursand 59 years, attendedata nutrition clinicin the city of Pelotas/RS, no period from 2013 to 2017.Statistical ana-lyzes were performed using Stata®14.0 software, with a sig-nificancelevelof5 (p<0.05).
Results: Thesampleconsistedof89women,themajority ofwhomwerewithahighschooleducation(44.1%),married (46.0%), hypertensive (33.7%), sedentary (64.0%) and were overweight(23.6%)orobesity(61.9%).
Discussion: Studies show the importance of outpatient nutritionalcarethroughimprovedqualityoflifeandfood.
