This interdisciplinary science combines nutrition, genomics, and molecular biology to understand how genetic variation affects an individual’s response to nutrients and how nutrients can influence gene expression. As research in this area advances, it holds the promise of revolutionizing disease prevention and management strategies by personalizing dietary recommendations based on genetic profiles.

Understanding nutritional genomics
